Assessment#

The assessment consists of an onsite analysis of the customer facility for a site survey. This should include a completed report of the areas of the facility, the equipment within the facility, and the electrical enclosures within the facility.

Using R2Sync, it should be possible to create a new directory, complete the manifest, and fill in the initial contents within the file import/inventory.xlsx one sheet at a time. This currently only includes sheets to document electrical enclosures and OEM equipment manuals.

A single .PDF document should be requested in order to provide a sample piece with the proposal.

Steps#

  1. Create a directory in R2Sync at the next available number, referred to as the jobIndex. For example, R2Sync/<jobIndex>.

  2. Fill out job manifest file located at R2Sync/<jobIndex>/manifest.toml.

  3. Check supplies before starting according to the Tools and Consumables sections below

  4. Locate each electrical enclosure once onsite

    1. Document on inventory spreadsheet on the electricalEnclosures sheet found at R2Sync/<jobIndex>/import/inventory.xlsx.

    2. Photograph outside of enclosure.

    3. Photograph inside of enclosure.

    4. Note if physical drawing appear present in cabinet.

  5. Ensure directory uploads to R2 storage.
