Justification#

To ensure continuity of business, revenue must be gained regardless of profitability to start. The billing, accounts receivable, and collections processes must be continuously performed in order to accomplish this consistently.

Context#

All of these processes are to be performed/overseen consistently by a manager at CoRdSvcs. In order to this this, certain documentation must be readily available anmd certain procedures exist so that once a billable milestone is reached within a project, the project manager can communicate certain information and/or documents in order to maintain consistency within these processes. These things have not been happening/set in place.

Deliverables#

  1. Define a manager at CoRdSvcs

  2. Within each fully developed product, within each of the projects, identify billable milestones to be communicated from the project/production manager to billing@<each respective company> which is then forwarded to billing@cord.consulting to notify.

  3. Identify types of billing notices(i.e. deposit, change order, invoice)

  4. Write procedure for billing to be sent out for each of these types of documents.

  5. IDentify timeline for each billing activity to move from billing, to accounts receivable, to collections, and finally to external collections.

  6. Draft internal document describing all of these steps and publish to docs.dev.exact.engineering under business documentation.

  7. Ensure DAL, Inc. is a vendor already and established as 3rd-party collections company.

  8. Draft service agreement for each contract that declares this information as is curreently useful.

  9. Implement processes immediately to all outstanding payments according to these standards and practices.

  10. Train Scott/Renee to help facilitate this process as a continuous and appropriately delegated process.

  11. Identify any areas of improvement/automation for future scopes/development.
